SIX FEET

Six Feet is a is a submission-based community book project with the intention of uniting photographers during the first 4-6 months of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The idea was to take all the scary feelings of anxiety, fear, and uncertainty and turn them into togetherness and community in the form of a collaborative photo zine. A call to artists was made via my own social platforms asking photographers to document what this historic blip in time meant for them. As I collected submissions for this book, one thing was made very clear: we were all craving creativity and community at that time more than ever.

  • The title “SIX FEET” is a clear nod to the 6’ social distancing guidance during the pandemic.

  • Repeated 6 times as a vertical banner in order to reflect the repetitiveness of each passing day.

  • Warped text gives a sense of unease and instability that we were all feeling.

  • Person in the cover image can be seen taking a photo out of their window aimed at the world and the title.
